Manchester United aim to end the season with three points as the Reds welcome Cardiff City to Old Trafford this weekend, for our final Premier League fixture of the season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will face his former club for the second time, after beating the Bluebirds 5-1 in South Wales in his first game in charge back in December.

In the opposing dugout, Neil Warnock and his side will walk out as a Premier League club for the final time for now, with the Welsh outfit set to return to the second tier after being relegated last term.

The Reds will be desperate to send our fans into the summer break on a positive note#ng# and potentially pip Arsenal to fifth in the table. Here's everything you need to know ahead of Sunday's match...

United v Cardiff: Key match details

Sunday 12 May | Premier League | Old Trafford | 15:00 BST kick-off | Live build-up on MUTV from 13:30 BST | Referee: Jonathan Moss

WHAT'S THE TEAM NEWS?

The boss has pledged to inject some youth into his line-up for the visit of the Bluebirds:P , with several youngsters involved in first-team training this week. James Garner, Dylan Levitt, Arnau Puigmal, Tahith Chong, Angel Gomes and Mason Greenwood were all working with the senior group on Thursday. There's also a chance Antonio Valencia could make a farewell:-( appearance if he can prove he is match fit. The club captain is out of contract in the summer. However, Eric Bailly will miss our final league match and the Africa Cup of Nations as the Ivorian continues his recovery from a knee injury. Alexis Sanchez is a doubt, as the Chilean suffered an ankle injury in last weekend's draw against Huddersfield. Jesse Lingard could return after being absent through injury, while there are doubts over Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial.

WHAT ABOUT CARDIFF?

The Bluebirds also have a number of players that are doubts for the match. Sol Bamba, who has been a rock in their defence this season, has been out since March with an anterior cruciate ligament injury. Fellow defender Callum Paterson joins Bamba on the sidelines as the Scotsman recovers from an ankle problem. Joe Ralls (hamstring) and Matthew Connolly (dislocated ankle) will also miss Sunday's game, however one player that could return is Victor Camarasa:O . Cardiff's joint-top scorer and Players' Player of the Year suffered a dead leg early on in last week's 3-2 defeat at home to Crystal Palace but could return for their final outing of the season.

A REVIEW OF CARDIFF'S SEASON

After gaining automatic promotion from the Championship against the odds last season, the Bluebirds weren't fancied by many to survive in their first season in the Premier League for four years and, after punching above their weight on some occasions, the season ends with Cardiff's immediate return to the second tier.

It took the Bluebirds until mid-October to win their first game of the campaign - a 4-2 home win over Fulham - however it was a run of back-to-back victories against Bournemouth and Southampton that gave the fans hope that a great escape could be possible.

However, with one game to spare, Cardiff's fate was sealed with a 3-2 defeat to Crystal Palace last weekend. The visitors have won three away games this season, with their last triumph on the road coming in a 2-0 win against Brighton & Hove Albion in April.

Ones to watch?

With 10 goals between them, Victor Camarasa and Bobby Reid have been Cardiff City's main threat up front this season.

WHO'S THE REFEREE?

Jon Moss will be the man in the middle for our final game of the campaign. The 48-year-old from West Yorkshire will oversee his sixth United match of the season - his last game at Old Trafford was our 2-2 draw with Burnley in January. He will be assisted by Marc Perry and Mick McDonough, with Simon Hooper acting as the fourth official. Of course, this will be the last round of Premier League games before the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system is introduced next season.

WHAT'S OUR RECORD LIKE AGAINST CARDIFF?

The Reds have faced the Bluebirds on 30 previous occasions in all competitions, winning exactly half of those encounters. We have also drawn eight games and lost seven times. United have scored 60 goals against Cardiff, conceding 44 times. The last time we played the South Wales outfit was on 22 December in Ole's first match at the helm, when goals from Marcus Rashford, Ander Herrera, Anthony Martial and a double from Jesse Lingard sealed a comprehensive 5-1 win at the Cardiff City Stahim. Our previous match against the Bluebirds at Old Trafford was on 28 January 2014, when goals from Robin van Persie and Ashley Young in each half gave Juan Mata a winning United debut against Solskjaer's Cardiff. Watch the goals from that 2-0 win below...

Just received this from a fan:

Fans attending the match vs Cardiff should mass walk out and leave Old Trafford after 83 minutes, with 7 minutes left to play to show our anger/frustration towards Ed Woodward who has failed in this role for 7 years. Thoughts?#WoodwardOut.
